What we collect
Your name, business name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and your order history. For trade accounts we also collect your ABN, trading name and the business details on your application. If you use our photo identification tool, we receive the photographs you upload.
Why we collect it
To supply and deliver your order, invoice you, provide warranty and after-sales support, assess trade account applications, and answer your enquiries.
Photographs
Photographs you upload are sent to an AI service to help identify the part, and are used to confirm the fit. We don't publish them or use them to identify you. Please don't include anything in shot you wouldn't want us to see.
Who we share it with
Only who we have to: our payment provider, our freight carriers, and the software that runs this site. We don't sell your information or give it to anyone for marketing.
Marketing
We only send marketing email if you've asked for it, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to supply you and to meet our tax and legal record-keeping obligations, which is generally 7 years for transaction records.
Access and correction
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email admin@summitco.net.au.
